My Approach
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, I offer an empathetic, supportive and non-judgmental space for the exploration of the foundations of patterns, behaviours and feelings. I apply this approach while also maintaining a strong awareness of the social systems we live in and value the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance.
In my approach, I place importance on exploring the root cause of the problem and provide an affirming therapeutic space to facilitate change. I also incorporate cultural awareness and sensitivity by respecting difference, including where our backgrounds and identities differ, as it relates to race, ethnicity, sexuality, faith, class, and gender.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to the ethical framework which values empathy, confidentiality and compassion as fundamental to the therapy practice.
I have a MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling (Distinction) at Goldsmiths University and a Certificate in Counselling Skills at Bristol City College and gained experience working as a volunteer counsellor at Carers Network, providing short term work to adult clients as well as roles in sexual health and the education sector.
I offer short term therapy and long term therapy. Whether there is an specific issue that you would like to focus on or a deeper exploration into different aspects of your life.
